Last week during the SBBuzz session, we learned a little about how to improvise when your technology fails you. Bradfordshimp (@bradfordshimp) put it best when he said that “community trumps technology” because we were able to quickly rally the help of an sbbuzz friend to carry out the chat without Twitter. Damon Cortesi (@dacort) used his RowFeeder.com to throw together a quick Google Doc capturing the #sbbuzz messages we were posting – even though Twitter, TweetDeck and TweetChat could not.
We’ve heard so much recently about the devastating effects a natural disaster like the earthquake in Haiti can have on on a community – and yet it is the community that will ultimately recover it.
So we thought this would be a good chance to work as a group to look at our own business preparedness plans, be they official checklists or a series of mental notes and make sure we have a good plan. We’ll talk about the best information to include in a plan and how to maintain it.
Please join us tonight from 8:00 – 9:00 PM EST with your thoughts on keeping your business prepared for the large or small roadblocks.
