Let’s Get Productive

At the last #sbbuzz session we asked the group what the most pressing tech need is.  The most popular response was cloud computing and productivity tools.  So with that directive in hand, we went to a friend at Google and asked if he could join the conversation this week and help us brainstorm getting the best use of some of the online tools to build a better small business.

So tomorrow night’s session will include the usual Q/A session for the first half of the discussion.  And for the second half we will focus on using some of the online tools available for things such as group collaboration, marketing efforts, sales tracking, business operations and networking.  We will be joined by Jonathan Rochelle, Product Manager, Google Docs and can pick his brain a bit on the best way to use their tools and network to get a quick bang for our small business productivity buck.

Please join in tomorrow, Tuesday, February 17th from 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM EST.  Instructions for participating are at http://sbbuzz.biz/instructions.  Send any questions/discussion topics to us via Twitter at @sbbuzz.

And don’t forget to help spread the word.  Here’s the <140 character version:

Small businesses get Googly talking about online productivity tools. Join in Tues. 8-10 PM EST. http://sbbuzz.biz

Look forward to seeing you all tomorrow night!

  1. Sounds like a very exciting session, especially with participation from Google. Looking forward to it. Looking ahead, will there be future sessions from other SaaS vendors on cloud computing? If so, I’ll like to suggest one.

Hi Earl – Yes, it was a great session. Very nice to have Jonathan come in and give us some practical insight. We plan to continue having “guest contributors” show us around their products and services. Please feel free to make suggestions. We will look to the crowd in deciding what topics/products we bring in.
